We’re hiring four local parents for a new research project

The Research for Social Change Lab is assembling a team of local parents for a participatory research study on parents’ and caregivers’ work to foster family wellbeing, as well as the things that make this work easier or more challenging.

This job involves participating in weekly workshops and, as the research project develops, additional work as required. This is a part-time (3 to 5 hours per week) contract position with a wage of $22 per hour.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Parents of young children (under 10) 

  • Able to read, write, and speak in English 

  • Live in Peterborough City/County or Curve Lake First Nation or Hiawatha First Nation

  • Able to get to weekly meetings at Traill College, London St., Peterborough 

  • We are seeking to create a diverse team of researchers.
